Minimum Stay Requirements
High Season: 3 nights
Low Season: 2 Nights
Special Events*: 4 nights
* Special Event Periods: Holidays, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Festival, Essence Festival, Southern Decadence, Halloween, New Years/Bowl Games, and Championship Games.
Standard Deposit Policy
A deposit equal to the greater of a one-night’s stay or 25 % of the total stay will be charged to the credit card when a reservation is made make. The balance due will be charged to the same credit card on the day of arrival.
Standard Cancellation Policy
A cancellation up to 14 days prior to check-in date will receive a deposit refund less a $39.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations 72 hours or less prior to check-in date will be charged for the full reservation. No credit for late arrival or early departures.
Special Event Deposit Policy
A deposit of 25 % of the total stay will be charged at time of reservation. The balance due will be charged 60 days prior to arrival date. No cancellations or refunds after the final payment.
Special Event Cancellation Policy
If you cancel this reservation up to 60 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a $39 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after 60 days prior to your arrival date unless we are able to re-book the room. Guests are responsible for the entire reservation. No credit for late arrival or early departures under any circumstances
Group Reservations
We welcome groups for two, three, and all four of our guest rooms. However, since we only have four guest rooms, we must require a 1 night or 25% deposit whichever is greater at the time of the reservation and full payment 30 days prior to the arrival date of the stay. Any cancellation prior to 30 days, the deposit will be refunded minus the $39 cancellation fee per room. After 30 days, there is no refund unless we can re-book all the rooms for the full price.
Check In/Out
Check in time is 4:00pm.
Any check in time before or after 4:00pm must be pre-arranged with the Innkeeper.
Check out time is 11:00am or before.
Smoking Policy
All guestrooms and indoor areas of the B&B are non-smoking. Burning candles or incense is also prohibited. Smoking is allowed on the balcony, front porch and in the courtyard only.
Pets
There are two friendly cats (Buddy and Tammy Faye) on the property. They spend some time inside and outside the house (when they are not taking naps). However, they never go in our guestrooms. Guests’ pets are not allowed on the premises.
Children
Children over 12 years old are welcome.
Accessibility
All but one of our rooms are on the second floor of the house. There are 28 steps leading up stairs. The Courtyard room is reached through our private vintage bricked tropical courtyard .
Occupancy
Quoted rates are based on single or double occupancy. The Red Room, Balcony Room, and Courtyard room can handle an extra person or two if necessary. The City of New Orleans nightly room tax of $.50 will be added to the daily room rate.
An extra charge is $50 per person during standard and summer periods and $89 a night during special event periods.
Marigny Manor House Bed and Breakfast is privately owned and owner-occupied. The owners reserve the right to refuse service or accommodations to anyone for any lawful reason. Any behavior on the part of guests that affect the safety or peaceful enjoyment of other guests may result in eviction without refund. Guests’ pets are not allowed on the premises.
