Marigny Manor House Guests at Commander's Palace

Vernon and the Bon Vivant Social and Pleasure Club at Commander's Palace!

Many of you have heard our stories about Vernon Saint and her 2 gorgeous sisters…all 3 founding members of our Bon Vivant Social and Pleasure club for dining and enjoyment in the New Orleans tradition. We purchased our house from Vernon Saint in 2001. Since then she has become a member of our “family” celebrating all the holidays together.

So what better place than Commander’s Palace, the number 1 restaurant in New Orleans to celebrate her recent birthday!
We encourage all our guests to take advantage of the Lunch Special for $20.00 for several choices of entrees, …ie..seared fresh gulf fish pork tenderloin, or Seafood Cakes…and Gumbo or turtle soup or the Commander’s incredible salad. And $.25 Martini’s and Cosmopolitans to boot! There is a limit of Three–cause thats enough!
The dress code for lunch is casual—no shorts or sleeveless dresses or tops. Believe me you will enjoy this place! It’s a New Orleans Favorite..Week-ends feature a Jazz Brunch…

Texas Belles in New Orleans!

The Condron Ladies......

Enjoying an evening at the Palm Court Jazz Club

It was great to see Alisha Pearson and Allison Condron of Dallas, and Rita Condron of Pollok, Texas; and Amy Barnett of Jasper, Texas…..once again!
They shopped until they dropped on Magazine Street, Royal Street, Uptown Re-sale shops, and many, many shoe stores. Those Texas girls do know how to shop.

Late Saturday afternoon, we took them for an Italian Gelato treat at Angelo Brocato’s (in business since 1905) on Carrollton
It was packed with a crowd of people coming back for more.

Blackberry Ice was the special of the day….Delicious and refreshing after these hot days in New Orleans!
