Our Inn Near New Orleans’ French Quarter
Our Bed and Breakfast is a private residence with 4 large guest rooms with private baths that accommodate overnight guests and include a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning. Our guests enjoy full use of the Front Parlor, Dining Parlor, Front Porch, and the Courtyard. The kitchen and owners unit are private only.
Front Parlor—Upon entering through the beautiful beveled and leaded glass front door, you get a glance at our extensive collection of New Orleans Antique City Maps, and portraits of several well-known local personalities from the early 1800s. Once you are in the Front Parlor, you will appreciate the significant amount of fine details that have been preserved over the years, from the crystal chandeliers to the original plaster molding and plaster medallions on the ceiling. Original Heart of Pine floors have been in place for over 160 years. The room is beautifully furnished for your relaxation as you unwind at the end of a busy day or having a cup of coffee before breakfast.
Dining Parlor—As in every fine bed and breakfast, this is where the action is…..The room is appointed with the original plaster molding and ceiling medallions, crystal chandelier, and a very comfortable dining table that seats 8-10 people for breakfast service. We have a Saeco automatic Italian coffee maker available 24 hours for our guests to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, ground from French Roasted coffee beans, with the push of a button. Trust me, you will enjoy our coffee! Tea is available for those enjoy tea.
A guest refrigerator is in the corner of the room with complimentary ice and a snack and beverage bar at reasonable prices…available 24 hours.
And for those that left their computer at home, we have an iMac computer and printer to print the boarding passes or check email while you are away.
Front Porch—Porch Sitting or Stoop Sitting is a very popular New Orleans pastime in the late afternoon or early evening. Many guests enjoy their first cup of coffee or a late night glass of wine or cocktail sitting on the front porch watching the world pass by. The Marigny is a fun neighborhood with an unbelievable number of colorful characters on the streets every day. Most are wearing some type of costume.
Courtyard — Our lush, tropical courtyard is very private, with the sound of trickling water from three beautiful fountains. It is another place to enjoy some down time while plotting your New Orleans adventures.
