Our New Orleans Bed and Breakfast guests are celebrating the end of Lent by making plans for Easter Sunday.
After selecting a fabulous new Easter hat at the Fleur de Paris fine hat shop on Royal street Saturday afternoon, our guests will be making reservations for an elegant Easter Sunday brunch at Muriel’s on Jackson Square or Antoine’s restaurant
Then strolling through the French quarter to view the 3 Easter Parades….
First, the Historic French Quarter Easter Parade kicks off at 10:30am at Arnaud’s and takes the Uptown ladies in their Easter bonnets by horse and carriage to the Easter Mass at Saint Louis Cathedral….and then back to Arnaud’s for the Brunch.
At 1:00PM , the Chris Owens Easter Parade rolls down Bourbon street with the Duchess of Easter herself, Chris Owens on the lead float.
And later at 3:00PM is the fun and festive Gay Easter Parade that comes down St Anne Street to Bourbon with the most interesting hats of all!
