A new Orleans tradition, Easter bonnets will be on display at all 4 of the Easter parades in the French Quarter on Sunday, April 24, 2011
The beautiful uptown ladies will arrive by horse and carriage for the Easter Sunday services at Saint Louis cathedral and then enjoy brunch at Arnauds after mass….
Later at 1pm, the Chris Owens French Quarter Easter parade rolls down Bourbon street with great jazz music, floats and costumes…..
Later in the day the Goodchildren’s parade rolls down St Claude in the Marigny/Bywater area.
And finally around 4pm, the Gay Easter Parade rolls down Royal and Bourbon street complete with the most elaborate Easter hats of the day.
